Our Story

We are Lumigrove, founded on a simple conviction: what you eat determines how you feel.

As two full-time workers, we noticed how difficult it is to eat truly consciously. We started reading supermarket labels and couldn't stop. We delved into reports, read about pesticide residues on fruits and vegetables, and discovered that pesticides are much more common and in higher concentrations than most people realize. Even on products that look fresh and healthy.

As young individuals, we didn't want to passively stand by. No expensive organic supermarket as the only way out, no complicated vegetable garden that requires a large yard. We wanted something accessible, clean, and honest for ourselves and for everyone who feels the same way.

So, we started looking for a solution. We bought an indoor growing system from another provider ourselves. The idea was good, but the execution could be better. Less user-friendly, not intuitive, and simply not made for daily life. That's when we thought: there must be a better way.

That's how Lumigrove was born.

Hydroponics gave us the answer. No soil, no pesticides, and complete control over what your plant gets. We started small in a student room with one setup above the sink and became addicted to the idea that you can be in charge of what you eat.
